We’re very happy with the City Bin Co. We used others in the past and changed provider to get a better service. We were not disappointed. CBC are professional. They talk to their customers and listen to comments. They do exactly what they said they would before we signed up. We would definitely recommend them and have already converted some of our neighbours who got tired of searching for their bins after collections by others.

I love the care the drivers and the care the ben men take putting the bins in the lorry. During the frost I came home to ‘Good Morning’ written on my bin. They also pick up any rubbish that might have flown out of the bin when putting it in the lorry. They are a credit.

I’m sorry for emailing but I felt compelled to do so. I was in Spar and I noticed a woman telling her son she had only enough money for her milk, bread etc. and he couldn’t get his sweets. He was visibly upset and cried. So, the City Bin staff member picked up the sweets, paid for them, walked past the child and gave the sweets to him. The woman asked his name, it was John Guilfoyle. The people you employ have hearts of gold. I will recommend City Bin to everyone because the world needs more employees like this. Fair play to your company having guys like this represent you. Amazing. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

“My youngest son Daniel (14) has autism and cerebral palsy – he is a big fan of the bin lorries,” starts a mail from Maeve O’Meara. “He got his own phone recently and managed to email City Bin looking for a ride in a bin lorry,” she continues. “A lovely girl called Emma emailed him back and explained they couldn’t do that but in her email she asked him to show her response to his mum or dad. She was lovely to him in the email. I emailed her after and explained he was just a big fan and thanked her for her email to him. She subsequently arranged for the bin lorry team to call to us during midterm and show Daniel how the truck works. They were so lovely to him. A week later a package arrived and card welcoming Daniel to the team. I was so impressed with them and Daniel is an even bigger fan now.”

We have been with 3 different bin companies in the 10 yrs we have lived in Ireland. The City Bin Co are hands down the best company I have dealt with. I highly recommend them.
Their customer representatives are top notch. I feel they really try to help me as a customer. I have different scenarios where I have needed to ring them and I have NEVER felt like they didn’t want to try and help me. I feel like that is rare these days.
Bin guys have never not showed, theyre really dependable. They even went into my garden on a couple of occasions to get my bins when we forgot. Those bins were heavy and they had to lift them over a block gate as well.

Love the consistency of service from the bin staff and that they are so polite and leave back each bin to where it was placed this not impeding walkers or traffic.
I also like that they don’t hold up traffic at busy school/work times.

The service you provide is second to none.
Only last week we were going to another company as they are doing good deals at present so I mailed you guys to let you know. A very helpful chap called Sean [O’Doherty] rang me straight away and offered us the City Standard deal which we were happy to take.
We would only move if it was absolutely essential as their service is not a patch on yours (bins collected in rush hour traffic holding everybody up, bins left 2 or 3 doors down after collecting) as I’ve always said.
So we are more than happy to stay with you guys – so all I’ll say is ‘keep up the good work’!

Every Tuesday morning my bins are collected and the lads on the truck are legends. Once my 2 year old son James hears the bin truck coming he climbs up on the sofa and starts waving at them out through the window and of course the lads do keep an eye out for him too and wave back. The lads are a class act. And I could never fault the service.

Just keep doing what you are doing. City bin trucks are very polite to other cars held up behind them on our narrow streets. They make room where possible to let cars go by. Also if they keep returning the bins back to the gardens/gates that allows elderly mobility scooters & prams to pass by. Just keep doing it 👍😀

I really felt I had to let you know about the exceptional city bin worker that collected my bins this morning. I am recovering from surgery and I have limited mobility and when I went out to take my emptied bin back from the City bin Worker immediately brought my bin back into my driveway for me. When I thanked him for doing this for me his reply was “not at all it’s my pleasure I hope you have a lovely day”. I have only recently changed over to City Bin and I have to say this young man’s kind gesture made my day and validated my decision to change over. It was service I couldn’t have ever even dreamt of from your competitor. Thank you

Having used the 3 main domestic waste companies in Dublin my experience with CityBin has always been superior to that offered by their competitors. The customer support response is aimed at the customer and not at defending the company rules. Both domestic and commercial teams provided a human and interactive response. Oh… and they collect the bins well and return them to where they were placed, rather than just anywhere!

The staff are fantastic and very helpful. This stems from an encounter I had with the bin collector.I forgot to put my bin out, I heard the truck downstairs. I got up and went to my balcony and I called the guy from afar, he asked which is mine and pulled it out for me. That meant a lot to me because he doesn’t have to.
Pity I didn’t get the guys name, he is a gentleman.

I really feel the need to contact you and thank you all for doing such a great job, but I sincerely wish to thank the very kind men [Anthony Diviney, Steven Brennan & Charles McGowan] that arrived at my house last Thursday morning on the 2nd July. These VERY kind men noticed that I had forgotten to leave out my bins the night before. When I woke to the sound of the bins being emptied outside I raced down the stairs to find that they had taken it upon themselves to bring out not just the bin they were collecting but both my green and brown bins which are visible at the side of my house. I do not know their names, but the driver had a beard. This really means a lot to me as my recycling bin is ALWAYS full. Sometimes it’s the little things and acts of kindness that mean the most!.
