The 8 cubic yard skip is the most commonly used. Also known as the builder’s skip, it is 5.5 feet (1676.5mm) wide, 11.5 feet (3505mm) long
and 4 feet (1219mm) in height. This skip will fit in most driveways. It is suitable for large home or work clearouts and work on building sites. 12 Cubic Yard Skip
The 12 cubic yard skip is the standard size skip for industrial and business use. This skip is 5.8 feet (1768mm) wide, 12 feet (3676.5mm) long and 6 feet (1829mm) in height.
These skips are available with lockable lids to ensure that only your waste enters the skip. 12 yard skips are used for large projects or by large producers of waste.
